Back from Vacation

A couple of things dropped in my inbox the last 10 days while I was away:

In fairness, John McCain's remarks recently about letting cigarettes kill Iranians comes off as boorish. However, we cannot excuse Obama for his past voting record, or even his current sidestepping and big talking tactics. Why is this occurring when someone like Hillary gets skewered (or we could even go to President Bush for a reference on being torched by the media). What is the love affair with an inexperienced, over matched Senator running for president? This isn't the movies where everything works out in the end...this is real life where the president's decisions will impact the world.
