As the Celtics revel in an updated NBA championship banner, we often gloss over the 'tragedy' that the storied franchise endured, with the aging of Bird, McHale ,Parish, and then the deaths of Reggie Lewis and Len Bias. What we need to focus on is the curtailing effects felt in Suitland, MD, where the Bias' called home.
